Discover House NaMora, an agricultural property transformed into a modern villa.
Photographer Ivo Tavares just sent over images of one of his last photoshoots, a farmhouse located in Serra da Estrela, a mountain area in Portugal. The two young architects, Filipe Pina and David Bilo, originally from that region of Portugal, joined forces for the development of this project.
The property is situated in a natural shelter of a valley at the foot of the Serra da Estrela, close to the parish of Gonçalo, in a place also known locally by the name of Mora. This agricultural property has approximately 18ha of area. It is surrounded by a dense pine tree forest.
The property has been well preserved over the years. At its center stands a modest granite house built in the mid-twentieth century. In a natural way, two new volumes of concrete were created and implanted in an existing terrace, closely linked to the old granite house. Below you can see a few images of the project.
