No need to tell you I fell in love with Naples when visiting the city last year for EDIT Napoli. From 9 to 11 October 2026 EDIT Napoli returns to ‘La Santissima’ for its eighth edition where it will host around 80 Italian and international exhibitors alongside new exhibition formats and a programme spread between La Santissima and the Chiaia district, where the historic Palazzi will become the setting for EDIT CULT projects.
With its campaign “Where Design Shapes,” EDIT Napoli focuses on projects and how they take shape, looking at the people, processes, materials, skills and independent ideas behind it. The fair brings together emerging designers, authors, architects and small independent producers.
La Santissima
At La Santissima, designers, studios and companies are presented across the building’s individual rooms, with furniture, objects and materials showing different approaches to contemporary living. Last year I visited EDIT Napoli for the first time and I really loved how each room felt like a small surprise, revealing designers and studios I had not come across before. La Santissima itself is a beautiful setting, with rooms overlooking Naples, Mount Vesuvius and the Gulf of Naples. The view becomes part of the experience as you move from one room to the next. Among the exhibitors of the 2026 edition, last year’s winners, Chiara Lionello and Katryna, will also return. They will be joined by a new selection of Italian and international names.

Lancia x DWA at La Santissima
Among the special projects at La Santissima is an installation by Lancia and DWA Design Studio, created for the presentation of the new Lancia Gamma. Lancia is the main sponsor of EDIT Napoli this year. On the first floor of La Santissima, elements of the car are translated into light, materials, sculptures and functional objects.
Olivier Vadrot at La Santissima
French designer and artist Olivier Vadrot presents an installation at La Santissima, produced by EDIT Napoli. Conceived as a meeting place, the installation brings people together and creates a dialogue between visitors and the surrounding space.
EDIT Napoli Goes Global
The 2026 edition has a stronger international focus. For the first time, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) is bringing 40 international professionals to Naples, including architects, developers and media from countries across Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia.
The programme also includes a collaboration with España Diseño Mediterráneo and the Instituto Cervantes of Naples, focusing on the Spanish design scene and exchange between Mediterranean design cultures. At La Santissima, Cultural Currencies: Cape Town Furniture Week x EDIT Napoli, curated by Francesca Lanzavecchia, brings together five South African studios.
EDIT Cult
Alongside the fair at La Santissima, EDIT CULT brings contemporary design into Naples’ historic and architectural heritage. I really enjoyed visiting the different locations last year and there seem to be even more to see. In 2026, the programme moves into the Chiaia district, with exhibitions and site specific installations in historic palazzi, churches and other architectural settings.
The 2026 locations include Museo Diego Aragona Pignatelli Cortes, Church of San Rocco in Chiaia, Palazzo Ruffo della Scaletta, Fondazione Plart, Church of Santa Caterina da Siena and Palazzo Cellamare. The programme brings together designers and artists from Italy, Spain, South Africa and beyond, working across furniture, objects, glass, light and installation.
