It looks like the Xbox Game Pass family subscription will launch under the name Friends & Family. This is evidenced by the logo published portal Aggiornamenti Lumia on Twitter (banned in the Russian Federation). As a reminder, family subscription testing began this month in Ireland and Colombia.
The name Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family means that you can invite not only family members, but also your friends to the subscription. The subscription is for five people, so you can invite up to four more users to share. There is only one restriction – all users must be in the same country.
Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family is currently priced at €21.99 per month and may change in the future. By comparison, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate costs €12.99 per month, while regular Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass costs €9.99.
Most likely, Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family will include all the benefits of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for all five users. In particular, access to multiplayer on consoles, the Xbox Cloud Gaming service and PC games from a PC Game Pass subscription will be open.
