On my last day in Paris just before catching the train back to Amsterdam, I visited a few exhibitions that were still on my list, and I really loved *One of A Room*, curated by āsār Studio. A curated space where collected objects, vintage furniture and contemporary works unfolded as the intimate interior of an imaginary collector.
I have always loved when a home-like setting is created to display the various works; it feels more alive, and it aligns better with my personal taste and style when different pieces are a naturally combination much like how you might arrange them at home. While an object on a pedestal can be stunning, exhibitions like this offer more inspiration. I saw various people posting about it on Instagram with comments like “I could live here.”
