Antwerp Design Week 2026 | Eight Exhibitions and More to Come

One of the first articles on vosgesparis in which I showcased the work of a Belgian designer was about a visit to Maison & Objet. Little did I know that a few years later, during one of my first press trips organised by Wanderful Design, I would have tea at his home. Ever since this first tour, I have a slight admiration for Belgian designers. Their standards are high and they possess a kind of individuality and passion for what they create that really appeals to me. Alongside a serious attention to craftsmanship and materials.

After visiting many Design Weeks and fairs over the years, I like to run into designers again and see how their work evolves over time. Antwerp Design Week 2026 gives space to established brands as well as young designers and students, and from my very first visit I believed it could become something far bigger than a B2B event.

At this fourth edition, that’s exactly what it is: open to professionals and design enthusiasts alike. For me personally, it’s a good week to reconnect and meet new people at a relaxed pace. Antwerp is the right city for it, the exhibitions are within walking distance of each other, and along the way, the beautiful architecture gives you plenty to look at too.

Five exhibitions I’m looking forward to

This year I am one of six journalists invited by Antwerp Design Week, and I’m curious to see where the programme takes me. Below, a selection of exhibitions I handpicked for you from the full programme, a starting point if you are planning your visit. Find all expositions here: Expo programme Also check out the Event Calendar for more activities and designer talks organized by different brands and Antwerp Design Week itself.
