During Milan Design Week 2026, I visited the H&M HOME installation at Palazzo Acerbi, where the first pieces from the collaboration with Kelly Wearstler were shown. A selection of furniture and objects was presented throughout the palazzo. It marks the first time H&M HOME introduced furniture as part of a designer collaboration, alongside a series of design objects.
“This collaboration with Kelly Wearstler is about exploring how design can shape the way we live, through pieces that are both expressive and adaptable,” says Evelina Kravaev-Söderberg. “Through the installation at Milan Design Week, we are expanding our design universe and offering new ways to experience H&M HOME.”
Bringing H&M Home
Kelly herself titled her newsletter, in which she writes about the collaboration ‘Bringing H&M Home”, and I think that is exactly what makes this collection so special. The idea of being able to bring a piece of Kelly Wearstler Design into your home is a long cherished dream for many. And through this collaboration with H&M HOME, this now seems possible for many design aficionados!
“This is my Milan debut and alongside H&M HOME” Kelly says. “I couldn’t have asked for a better partner or a more extraordinary stage. Palazzo Acerbi stopped me the moment I walked in. Centuries of history, our collection in direct conversation with all of it. Bringing this collection to life in Milan and showing people how these pieces come alive in a real space, that’s everything” And I couldn’t agree more. Being able to visit these beautiful Palazzi each year, not knowing who or what to discover within their walls, is something that keeps me coming back to the Salone -Milan Design week.
First days in Milan
After spending the Sunday at Alcova, read my first report here: Alcova 2026 favourite Sten Studio – The wedding and before Milan Design week officially opened, our Monday was filled with different press events and openings. So for The Kelly Wearstler x H&M HOME presentation and I must say that I was really very curious about the collection, especially as I knew that these would be new and original designs within the H&M HOME collection by a designer I truly appreciate.
The presentation featured 9 curated objects from the collection; the full 29-piece collection launches 3 September 2026! Every aspect was carefully curated making it a total experience. The entire installation was immersed in a custom scent created by Kelly Wearstler for SIDE HUSTLE in LA specifically for the Kelly Wearstler H&M HOME installation.`

After a short line we arrived at the courtyard of Palazzo Acerbi, where the first gesture of the installation revealed itself. The NOXEN stools were composed into a sculptural installation, somewhere between furniture and architecture, set against a backdrop of okra-toned curtains that softened and framed the space.
The entrance room was the first space of the installation. Here the EMERA table lamp was shown here in a larger, floor-scale version and repeated throughout the room.
In the ‘dining room’, the NOXEN chairs are dispersed across the space, each elevated on silver mirrored plinths. Set against the raw, historic walls of Palazzo Acerbi, the pieces were presented in contrast to the existing architecture.
Showing the versatility of the NOXEN Chair
The music room introduced a quieter setting moment. Two constructed shutter box cabanas frame the space, each housing the silhouette-defined AUREX lamp, appearing almost like objects on a stage or within a vitrine. Sound was part of the room, together with light projections moving through the shutters and changing the backdrop. To experience this for yourself, visit my Milan Design Week Highlight where a video of this installation is one of the first shown.
The lounge was arranged with the SOLUNA lounge chair and POMA accent chair, placed together and stacked against a striped wallpaper. This vertical composition showed a sense of volume and softness, pushing the idea of upholstery into something more sculptural and unexpected, blurring the line between function and installation. I loved how during the Dinatoire organised by H&M and Kelly visitors would gather in this room, showing some more of that at the end of this post.
At the centre of this room sits one of the collection’s key pieces: the softly contoured CURVA vase, which I previously showed when first writing about the collaboration : Kelly Wearstler x H&M HOME at Milan Design Week 2026 Surrounded by expressive, illustrative vintage floral wallpaper, bronze mirrors and a fully custom-made rug enhance the atmosphere and add warmth, reflection, and a sense of enveloping tangibility. Delicate flowers formed a dialogue with the vases and the wallpaper.
MONA Clothing Rack – Image Credit: H&M HOME, Piergiorgio Sorgetti
I came across a lot of High gloss elements within the different exhibitions and interiors during the week and the MONA clothing rack, a modular system rendered in high-gloss red is spot on. A customised floral wallpaper in soft pink and green softens its structure, while a plush, fully fitted carpet evokes the intimacy of a walk-in closet. Printed garment bags are subtly integrated into the space, hinting at narrative beyond the installation.

Cocktail dînatoire to celebrate Kelly Wearstler H&M HOME
Later that week I was invited to a Cocktail dînatoire to celebrate Kelly Wearstler H&M HOME at Milan Design Week. An evening with a great vibe, lots of familiar faces, including Kelly and the H&M crew, and drinks and bites all in style of the collection. Here at the pressroom I loved the ORTRA sofa table composed of multiple elements forming a circular configuration, I can easily see this in my own home and hope to lay my hands on once the collection is launched. On top the candlesticks I later found in my bag, which are also part of the collection
The image below I found on Kelly’s website and fun to suddenly spot myself in it after scrolling past the photos several times. Thank you for a great night H&M and Kelly, and Miluska for taking that other image of Kelly and me.
