Visiting Maison & Objet and meeting Mokko Amsterdam

Paris Design week I thought was really interesting, I previously showed you the Beni x Frama rug collection that was presented in Paris and the beautiful work of Corpus Studio I also went to Maison & Objet one day. Always interesting to see if I can discover some new brands or interesting exhibitions.
Like in January Elizabeth Leriche had a trend presentation, and I found some cool artists, but to be honest I loved the January edition more than the September fair.

I made a series of stories which you can see in this highlight, showing both Paris Design week and the actual Maison & Objet fair. You can see all stories in this Paris highlight

Mokko Amsterdam

I was pleased to see Mokko Amsterdam at Maison & Objet, visiting their new location in Amsterdam is still on my to do list. And I thought I’d show you a few items of their collection because I am pretty sure that if you, like me, love the sculptural lines in the furniture of artists such as  Rick Owens and  Arno de Clerq you might find this a brand interesting to explore some more! For that visit the website of Mokko !

Mokko represents a collection of sculptural interior objects designed by founder Aad Bos. The Amsterdam-based studio was established in 2017 and creates custom products for interior professionals and design enthusiasts internationally.

Objects by Mokko feature a rhythm of monolithic form, created through an iteration of volumes and voids. Architectural elements are balanced, weighed and stripped from excess, until the essence of the inspiration is translated into a sculptural object that is emotionally resonant. (text Mokko)
