String furniture at Stockholm Furniture Fair and visiting interior fairs

It is almost time for the next fair, Maison & Objet… although I planned a lot ahead for 2023, I did not plan this particular fair to visit in September! After a few design trips and a Spring & Summer holiday my pockets were kind of empty. And just like I expected Thalys train prices and hotels are insane for Paris this next month.

Visiting interior fairs

I would have loved to visit the fair again but to be honest I was lucky to travel a lot this year already, both for work and vacation. I love to combine Interior fairs with city visits and really enjoyed Paris earlier this year. Some fairs I got invited to and collaborate with, something I am really grateful for. In case you wonder what it involves have a look at this page

I just only were reminded on how many fairs I visited already when searching some images of the Pira G2 by String Furniture that was introduced at several occasions. If you wonder, so far I visited Hannover and Paris in January, have a look here at everything I did in Paris. A quick 24 hours in Antwerp on invitation of &Tradition in February and a visit to a cold Stockholm for the Interiors and Light fair and Stockholm design week.

Of course we were a week in Milan for Milan design week And the last fair I planned ahead was 3 Days of Design. I sadly had to cancel the imm Spring edition because of a nasty eye infection. I am happy to have been back at these fairs, some will always be at my list and have even become better, other are amazing and loyal collaborators for years, and other, nevertheless I had a great time meeting people,  I think I won’t visit anymore as I did not find it worth the money in this case.

Pira G2 by String

What I loved about the Pira G2 by String furniture are the many options it can be used in our homes. It has a modular design and can be free-standing, wall-mounted and is equally well-suited to larger living areas as well as public spaces. The poles and shelves come in white and black grey. The shelves are made of lacquered steel sheets and the poles of extruded aluminium which emphasises the solid expression even further.

The shelves have been tested and approved 50kg load and can be furnished with cabinets in walnut or white oak, bookends and organisers in solid walnut or oak. The poles and shelves come in white and black grey and the cabinets and bookends have the options of walnut or white oak, where the wood brings warmth and creates a contrast to the lacquered metal.
