Take a look at this lovely renovation of a historic building in Lisbon, Portugal with architecture by Pedro Carrilho Arquitectos and photography by Ivo Tavares.
Graça 117 is one of those renovation projects that contribute to the valorization and preservation of its urban environment in Lisbon. Like many buildings in this historic city, this architectural intervention required a general restructuring with respect to pre-existing references.
On the ground floor, the commercial store space was maintained to preserve the spirit of the neighborhood. The house contains seven small apartments on the floors above.
Below you can see a few shots taken by photographer Ivo Tavares. For those who want to see more of the creative work by Pedro Carrilho Arquitectos, feel free to visit the studio’s website.
