Interior Design Platforms Worth Following in 2026

The Evolution of vosgesparis

Are blogs dead? You hear that a lot these days. Some say social media and algorithm-driven feeds have replaced old editorial platforms. But for me, that’s not the case. I’ve been running vosgesparis for over 17 years, and I’ve seen how carefully curated online platforms continue to shape interior design thinking, long after the so-called “blog boom” faded. While vosgesparis itself remains the foundation, I’ve also kept up with the times, embracing Instagram, Pinterest, and other digital channels, and over the years vosgesparis has developed into an international, independent interior design platform. Vosgesparis remains active and respected in Europe’s interior design community, proving that thoughtful, curated content still matters.

A Nostalgic Look Back

Over the years, social media shifted everything. Yet somehow, the platforms I loved back then haven’t disappeared completely. I remember when I first started, before the social media hype, before Facebook, before Pinterest went public. I shared my images on Picasa, joined early forums, and curated my own Blogroll of favorite interiors and design blogs. That first community of bloggers was so special, Scandinavian blogs, French blogs, each with its own style and focus.

Why Independent Platforms Still Matter

Nowadays, when searching for platforms online, many of the old lists resurface, filled with blogs or websites that either no longer exist or haven’t been updated in years. Yet across Europe, dedicated, independent interior design platforms are still actively updating and curating their content, keeping the spirit of discovery alive. In a world where social media encourages constant scrolling, these platforms deserve to be seen and read, offering a slower, more considered way to explore interiors, design, and visual culture. Taking the time to engage with a website or curated platform reveals so much more than a fleeting post — it’s a reminder that thoughtful content still matters.

January 1st of 2026 Instagram has reintroduced the chronological timeline, and suddenly all those names from the past are appearing again, just like old friends resurfacing. That sense of discovery, of curated inspiration, is exactly why I wanted to create this updated list of interior design platforms worth following in 2026, online-first, international, and truly active. And let me tell you I was shocked by the amount of disappeared platforms I used to love reading.

Wishing you a happy and healthy 2026
