The Collectible Edit | Clément Pasquier at Collectible Brussels 2026

During the last edition of the Collectible Fair in Brussels, I met Clément Pasquier. In his stand, it was the combination of materials in his designs that caught my attention. Room divider Bro on wheels made of aluminum and glass blocks. Likewise, the dimmable floor lamp Henry. In my previous article, I already showed another use of glass blocks:  Mano Glass Bricks by Eco Outdoor and Tom Fereday

The stand was nicely styled. A beautiful daybed Roger in black wood with a semi circular cushion upholstered in beautiful fabric from Elitis, referencing the cushions often used by a physiotherapist. Combined with the small table Anne, it was placed on a rug, giving the space a more dressed up look.

Gisèle: Glass Blocks and Light

Lamp Gisèle is made with glass blocks that refer to the historic Brique Le Corbusier glass brick from 1933, a modernist building element that is produced again today by the French manufacturer La Rochère. The lamp combines these solid glass blocks with a minimal aluminum structure, creating a sculptural object that also functions as lighting. Gisèle provides direct light and features an aluminum structure with integrated LED lighting and a dimmer, allowing the light intensity to be adjusted.

By his own account, Clément’s objects are the product of spontaneous ideas, experiments, and research. He loves to elevate everyday objects and materials. Although his creations are primarily objects and furniture, he also engages in designing sets and interiors. He does not consider himself a craftsman, but he has a clear passion for making things.
