Marlot Baus Daily Rhythms — Life Around the Table | Milan Design Week 2025

This year at Alcova Marlot Baus unveiled an installation in one of the rooms of villa Bagatti Valsecchi titled ‘Daily Rhythms – Life Around the Table’. More than just a showcase of objects, the presentation invited visitors to reflect on the emotional life that happens around the table — from quiet rituals to shared meals. Tables and seating pieces, handcrafted in microcement, wood, stone, and steel, highlight the use of raw materials and textured surfaces.

The space was curated by art director Claudia Longarte, who created an immersive setting where Marlot Baus’ furniture lives in conversation with works by over ten international artists, and so becoming a shared world of design and art.

Life Around the Table

Introducing a sculptural and emotional approach to design, Marlot Baus brings a fresh and thoughtful perspective to the way we experience everyday objects. In this new edition, the studio presents a collection of tables and seating created in collaboration with designer Filippo Andrighetto. Each piece balances raw materials with refined details, continuing the studio’s exploration of form, memory, and sensory experience.
