Based in Paris, Studiovlach is an interior design agency that creates bespoke spaces with a personal touch. From private apartments to exclusive boutiques and restaurants. Today I love to show you a renovated apartment by the Studio, located in Paris’ 11th arrondissement Oberkampf. A vibrant, trendy neighborhood known for its mix of artistic flair, eclectic cafes, and lively nightlife.
The owners turned to Thomas Vlach to give a fresh new life to their recently acquired apartment in a beautiful 19th-century Parisian building and design a sleek, contemporary design that still embraces the charm of the original wooden beams. The entrance features a clever joinery enfilade, subtly hiding access to the office, bathroom, and dressing room. A rounded staircase adds an unexpected touch, inspired by the simple beauty of Greek seaside villages. In the living room, a wood insert was added to the original fireplace, paired with a custom-designed concrete bench that ties the space together. The master suite is equally thoughtful, with a built-in closet that cleverly conceals a spacious walk-in dressing room.
Minimalism, contemporary, and narration are the guidelines of each project.
I got to know Thomas Vlach when visiting Gallery Pansa, have a look here if you missed my post about the gallery: Contemporary Furniture and Stone Creations at Parisian gallery Parsa Co-founder and artistic director of the house, he is the designer of the PARSA furniture collection in natural stone and solid wood.
