A last post about Antwerp just because this hotel was so amazing and I have to share it with you! As you know I was in Antwerp on invitation of &Tradition and I was so happy to hear we would spent a night at Hotel Julien I slept in a beautiful comfortable minimal room with great bedlinen and an linen headboard I want to copy to my own bedroom. As we arrived after dinner I did not make any pictures of the room, but I snapped a few early morning. You can see it was still a bit dark, but coming down and see an open fire early morning is something I really loved and makes you instantly feel at home.
After a great night of sleep and breakfast in the cozy breakfast room, we had a small tour through the hotel and discovered the beauty of the two 16th century properties the hotel is situated in. The hotel has been lovingly restored and authentic features are effortlessly combined with contemporary furnishings. I loved it all, from the bar to the lighted fire and the patio with its water feature. Definitely a place to check out and spent some time when you are in Antwerp.
