Enjoy these amazing images by light painting artist Janne Parviainen.
When talking about light painting art, Janne Parviainen is one of the top names you need to know. The work of this Finnish artist has been featured in various art blogs and magazines around the world. I’m very pleased to show you some of his latest work, which he recently sent to us together with a few personal notes.
Janne Parviainen says: “In my new light art photos I have experimented combining real-life objects and models (myself) with light painting. In some of the photos (Highway), I used anamorphic drawings and cutouts from black paper to create new dimensions to the photo area.
In the Invisible Walls photo, I planned the composition to work with a mirror effect on both sides of the photo to be able to multiply it into a larger scene on Gimp.
In all of the photos, all the effects are created with light painting, except the mirroring of the photo on Invisible Walls.
The melting effect on Magnetism photo is created by using Calligaris L’eau chair as an effect lens for the camera.
The Neon Waves photo was originally done for the Finnish surf music band Halibears’ album cover.”
